Pictures Anyone?

If you live in or around the San Francisco Bay Area, and you’re thinking about having some pictures taken, go visit Superhero Designs.  The above picture is only one of many fabulous pictures that Andrea took of me and Z a couple of weeks ago.  Neither Z nor I are much good at standing in front of a camera, but Andrea drew us out in totally unexpected ways, and we both felt completely relaxed.  You can see more of Andrea’s work (and read what she has to say about it) on her blog.

And in case you’re wondering, Z’s sweater is the Mommy Snug from the Summer 2006 issue of Interweave Knits.  If there’s any history of twins in your family, knit the second set of short rows.

Beautiful photographs, I visit Andrea’s site often and saw your photos up earlier today. Lovely, and congratulations! I followed Andrea’s link to your site, so great! I am a novice knitter, having just recently learned over a midday tea with a friend. I am already quite enamored with the art.
    Again, congratulations!

The picture is precious! This sweater and the Feb. Lady sweater are both gorgeous. I think that I’m finally convinced to jump on the band wagon with the FLS — I know that everyone’s knit it already, but it seems like such a versatile piece! Wish that I’d knit Mommy Snug when it was first released, but with each baby, I keep thinking it’s my last, and so therefore not worth the time…seeing yours now (or Z’s, actually), I wish that I’d just gone ahead with it! Great work. =) And congratulations on the twins! (BTW, we share the same due date!)

Beautiful pictures! I’ve clicked to you through Ravelry. I’m looking for the pattern for the Mama snug. How does one get a hold of the pattern if you haven’t been subscribing to Interweave since 2006? Any help appreciated.
